The Schwarzenegger Sound Byte Assistant

This is the current website for downloading the COMMANDO: The Schwarzenegger Sound Byte Assistant program. This site will evolve as time goes on, but in the mean time it looks like this. This software is currently freeware, and is in alpha development. (Skip to Download Section)

COMMANDO has the following features:

Over 600 Arnold word soundbytes and over 150 famous Arnold Schwarzenegger quotes. (Now Normalized)

Easy to use GUI that facilitates organization of sound clips based. on their directory location, which the user may personally customize.

Two distinct modes of operation: Wordsmith, allows the user to assemble statements via custom selection of each individual word, and Quotesmith allows the user to select famous quotes from Arnold Schwarzenegger's vast collection of movies.

Type your own sentence area where Arnold Schwarzenegger will speak out whatever sentence you type in his own words

Auto-copy allows the user to click on the words individually and copy them into a sentence.

Full quote optimization in sentence mode, if you type a phrase that exists in the quote collection that portion will be spoken as the actual quote

Better Delay inserted for punctuation and in between each word for more understandable speech. Delay varies based on the length of the previous spoken word.

Works around JVM bug that makes Clips all play at the same time.

Save Phrase functionality allows you to save your phrase as a wav file, so that you can play back the wav outside of Commando (Hear a sample.)

Be sure to erase/uninstall any old copies of Commando before extracting the latest versions. Some files may have changed or been removed in the development process.

Default Windows Installation:

Sun Java JRE Check/Download Go Here First. Easy install for Java Runtime which also lets you know if its already installed and up to date.

Commando 0.8 Install [requires Java 1.4.2 or higher] (Windows XP/2000/98 10.2MB)

Commando 0.6a6 Install [requires Java 1.4.2 or higher] (Windows XP/2000/98 10.2MB)

Other Installations:

Commando Jarfile 0.8 [requires JRE 1.4.2 or higher] (All Other Platforms, Run Jar 9.739MB)

Commando Jarfile 0.6a6 [requires JRE 1.4.2 or higher] (All Other Platforms, Run Jar 9.6MB)
